Jason Mermis serves Asset Campus Housing as Vice President of Acquisitions and Development. His responsibilities include working closely with principals and other company executives in all phases of development, acquisitions, and dispositions. He will also be involved in various asset management duties to ensure that the portfolio’s performance is in line with projections.

Jason’s commercial real estate experience primarily consists of financial and market analysis, business development and financing. Previously, he worked for Cushman & Wakefield as a Senior Financial Analyst; prior to that he worked for BMC Capital as an Associate Loan Officer.

Jason holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Texas A&M University and was awarded the CCIM designation in 2006. He possesses a Salesperson’s License from the Texas Real Estate Commission and is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI). Currently, he is pursuing ULI’s certification in Real Estate Development Finance.
