Asset Campus Adds Two New Assets

Stuart Davis

Vice President of Operations – Student Housing 

Joining Asset Campus Housing with over 23 years experience in the student housing industry, Stuart began his career working on-campus as a Residence Hall Director at the University of Tennessee – Knoxville. Subsequently Stuart returned to the University of Georgia as a Residence Life Coordinator before becoming the Assistant Director of Housing at Trinity University in San Antonio, TX. Stuart then joined Century Campus Housing Management, L.P. (now Campus Living Villages) and held various positions, including Property Manager of what was then Century’s largest on-campus development (2,000 beds) in partnership with the University of Texas at San Antonio. During his tenure as Regional Manager for Century, Stuart assisted with the launch of the second phase of the Greek Housing project (Adelphi Commons II) developed at Arizona State University, as well as successfully opened the first student housing project at Arizona State University – West Campus in Glendale, AZ.

Prior to joining Asset Campus Housing, Stuart was Vice President of Operations for Campus Advantage, Inc., where he managed a portfolio of 18 student housing properties totaling 8,071 beds for the company’s largest institutional client, CalSTRS (California State Teachers Retirement System) in addition to another 3,000 beds for various owners. Stuart holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from the University of Georgia.

Lori Nantkes

Regional Supervisor – Student Housing 

Joining Asset Campus Housing with 16 years experience in the housing industry, Lori Nantkes began her career in the Multi-family industry as a leasing agent right out of college in Indianapolis, IN. After 10 years in MF management, she accepted a role as a Regional Director for Campus Living Villages (CLV) in July, 2004, where she supervised a minimum of five sites (2,500 beds+). During her tenure as the Regional over the Midwest portfolio, though three of her sites were traditionally hard-lease properties, she and her Managers attained an average occupancy of 99.5% accumulatively for the region in 08. Lori was selected the first to participate in the work-exchange program with CLV-Australia, where she spent 45 days observing and working with the student housing facilities across Australia.

 Prior to joining Asset Campus Housing, Lori had served 6 months as a Regional Manager for Campus Advantage, where she supervised 7 sites (over 3000 beds). Over the years, Lori has worked thru sales, acquisitions, new construction phases, multi-million dollar rehab projects, military housing, homeowner associations, and helped coordinate finances for properties once near bankruptcy, and under 50% occupancy, leading them right out of the red to occupancies in the mid 90’s. Lori earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Music & Business Administration from Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois. She also has earned: Certified Apartment Manager Certification, (CAM ), Accredited Residential Management Certification, (ARM ), and has commenced course work to earn the Certified Property Manager Applicant for Candidacy, (CPM ).
