As Senior Vice President of Development and Acquisitions for Asset Campus Housing, Barrett pursues new development and acquisition opportunities in Texas and other select markets in the U.S. His responsibilities include site selection, feasibility analysis, arranging debt and equity financing, and all other aspects of the acquisition and disposition process.

Prior to joining Asset Campus Housing in 2006, Barrett served as a Senior Portfolio Manager for KeyBank Real Estate Capital where he was responsible for the underwriting and closing of over $300 million in commercial real estate construction and acquisition loans. His experience also includes a range of valuation and litigation related engagements while working at Arthur Andersen.

Barrett holds a Master of Land Economics and Real Estate degree from Texas A&M University, and earned his Bachelors degree in Business Administration at Austin College in Sherman, Texas.
